THE SEVEN COURTYARDS
Seven stories, One kingdom
In one of the seven courtyards, the moment is quiet and contained. She sits by the frescoed wall, brush in hand, carefully bringing form and colour to stories already resting in stone. Her handcrafted ensemble moves softly as she works every embroidered detail echoing the patience and precision of the art she creates.
A little distance away, another woman stands still, watching. She does not interrupt only observes, curious, drawn into the intimacy of the act, as though witnessing something private unfold.
In the background, music drifts through the courtyard. The brother of the king plays, his presence felt more than seen, the rhythm settling gently into the space.
As light fades and shadows deepen, the courtyard becomes a pause in time where creation, craft and quiet ambition exist without spectacle.
