these colours were a pomegranate.

The peels are simmered slowly, releasing natural tannins — plant compounds that bind beautifully with silk fibres.

Not painted on.
Not coated over.
But absorbed into the fabric itself.

This is why the colour feels warm.
Why it ages gently.
Why it looks alive.

On forest-grown tussar blended with soft modal, hand-carved blocks press patterns into cloth.

Mud resists shape the design.
Water washes reveal the form.
Sun and time finish the story.

Each piece is quietly unique.
