Weave The Future, across all three editions, was made sure to be a zero-waste initiative ensuring that what we advocate is also practiced, and that our events set a real, working example rather than just a message.

Building on the vision, the second edition of Weave The Future strengthened its commitment to circularity and conscious design.

Steps we took to ensure Weave the Future was a zero-waste event!

Here’s a summary of the key actions taken:

Material Separation: we focused on materials that could be easily separated, allowing for proper recycling or reuse.

Avoiding Non-Reusable Items: we opted out of using materials that could not be reused by either you or the contractor, such as carpeting for the brand stalls.

Sustainable Flower Use: Flowers were collected, dried, and stored for future use in dyeing textiles.

Fabric for Stall and Pillar Covers: The fabric used to cover poles, metal pillars, and stalls was either returned to the contractor or sent to

Reusing Red Carpet: The red carpet was taken back by the contractor at the event’s conclusion, ensuring it was reused.

Branding and banners: Banners used for branding were returned to , which they will use as packaging for their products.

Food Waste Management: Any leftover food from the event was donated to an animal shelter.
