Artist Sharwari Alaghuru’s recent display of art works at the Olive in the capital saw an amazing turn out of art aficionados
Delhi’s swish set was full in attendance at the recent exhibition of Sharwari Alaghuru’s art works at the Olive bar & kitchen in the capital. Among the prominent faces included Shalini Khanna, Sylvie Rodgers, Aditi Mookherjee, Shelly Singh, Gulafsha Qureshi, Viresh Verma, Meeta Chaturvedi, Siddharth Berry and Swati Mittal. While talking about her artistic journey Sharwari said, “With over ten years of painting I have turned my passion for painting into a profession I love. Art isn’t just my work; it’s my meditation, my joy, and my way of spreading happiness.” On further adding she said, “At Sharwari’s Artverse, I create vibrant customised paintings like Tanjore, Oil painting, Charcoal painting, Acrylic painting and, Relief art tailored to each client’s desire, with over 50-60 customised pieces and few of my own creations brought to life so far. I also love teaching art to kids, inspiring the next generation to embrace their creativity. For me, art is about breaking boundaries, I explore different styles and techniques to keep my work fresh and exciting. Bright colours and happy vibes are my signature.”
