Some sarees are detailed enough to make you stop and look twice. This one is definitely one of them.

We loved seeing Mrs. Rakhi Jindal (Rakhi jindal ) wear this pink creation, with its intricate embroidery, layered patchwork and little details that reveal themselves the longer you look.

What makes us happiest, though, is seeing all of that work come together once the saree is actually worn. On her, it felt every bit as special as we imagined it would.

Wishing you a very Happy Janmashtami. 🦚

This Janmashtami gave us a reason to create something a little closer to the heart.

At Label Pratham, we have always loved taking stories, art and traditions that have lived with us for years and finding a way to bring them into what we wear today.

This time, it was Krishna’s story that stayed with us.

We spent time thinking about how to translate that feeling into Pichwai- through the artwork, the colours, the little details and the hands that brought each of them to life.

Two sarees, one story, and a lot of love went into making them.

Some creations feel even more special when we see them come alive on the people they were made for. ✨

It was such a joy to see Mrs. Shikha Garg ( Shikha Bansal-garg ) grace our hand-painted Paithani & Patola-inspired creation, beautifully bringing together the delicate artistry of the drape with her own effortless elegance.

And seeing Mr. & Mrs. Garg ( Ankur Garg )together, both dressed in Label Pratham, made the moment even more special. 🤍

From the hand-painted details to the thoughtfully crafted silhouettes, every piece carries a little bit of our love for Indian artistry but it is you who truly brings it to life.

There are two things that make this saree special: what you see, and what you feel.

What you see is the artwork. Hand-painted Pichwai motifs, brought together with hand embroidery and patchwork, adding layers of detail to the saree.

And then there’s the fabric. Organza and Tussar Linen come together to give it a beautiful mix of texture and drape, while the Gota border brings in that familiar festive touch.

A saree with a lot of detail, but one that still comes together beautifully.

At first, it’s the colour.

Then you notice the flowers. Then the Pichwai details. And then the hand embroidery tucked into the artwork.

This saree is made in Silk and Organza, with a half-and-half composition that gives the whole piece a very different feel.

There’s a lot to look at here. And honestly, that’s the fun of it.

We love how much is happening on this saree, without it ever feeling too much.

The Organza base is covered in hand-painted Pichwai details, hand embroidery and carefully placed patchwork. The Gota and Brocade border gives it that festive finish, while the colourful tassels on the pallu add a fun little detail.

Meet Mrs. Gurpreet Phokela - Our Founder’s Physics teacher from Class 9, 1993.

Somewhere between those school days and today, life has changed quite a bit. And yet, during her recent visit from the US, she found her way to Label Pratham and chose a Pichwai Linen Tunic.

Seeing her wear it now feels particularly meaningful. There’s a certain warmth in having someone who was once your teacher appreciate something you’ve created years later.
