495DM stands for fashion, creativity and young designs. From Bombay to Brooklyn, since 2009 495DM has graced the world with affordable, yet stylish designs created by young designers from all over the world. The desire of giving our creation an even deeper meaning, with the urge of helping, has been growing within us ever since. In 2013 Choeny Wagma (

Co-Founder of 495DM) started to materialize this urge with the idea of WLC. WLC is a non-profit charitable organization with the aim of creating worldwide awareness and helping those in need sustainably. With various designers from all over the world we will reach love & compassion. After founding our organization in January 2015 we now are ready to start our first charitable collaborative design project. Our plan is to have our first collaboration ready by the end of 2015. WLC’s first collaboration partner is TCV Handicraft in Dharamsala, India. This platform conduces to fundraising in order to produce our first collaborated collection and send them out to people like you. Choeny Wagma – McGuinness,
Creative Director at 495DM will volunteer at the centre, share her skills and collaborate on ideas. Before 495DM she created designs for many of the world’s high end designers. She was on the cutting edge of fashion and worked alongside some of the industry’s best. Spend over 4 years in India gathered materials, and coordinated a workshop to deliver products for international clients on a daily basis

Creative Director at Meera Mittal – fashion & accessories will contribute her designs to TCV Handicraft. Our collaborated collections will be available on the WLC website.

100% net profit of the WLC – TCV collaboration will be donated to TCV Handicraft Dharamsala. The donation will help us to create an ethical production environment. Furthermore it will help us to acquire worldwide new collaborators at various social institutes and create cutting-edge design projects.
