Just peachy, that’s our hand-woven peach coloured pure Paat (Mulberry silk) Mekhela Chador. The mekhela is adorned with small rhombus butis in golden zari (guna) and thread, while the fall has an elaborate embroidery in the same combination. The chador has the traditional Assamese floral and diamond motifs across the whole body, while the borders and the ends have handwoven embroidery work in a combination of golden zari (guna) and embroidery giving it a regal touch. This silk has a natural glossy texture and is known for its durability.

Kesa Paat (raw silk) is the resultant of Paat ( ) not being degummed, giving the fabric an organza-like feel. This powdered Kesa Paat mekhela chador has small butis in thread work and golden zari (guna) across the whole body. The fall of the chador has elaborate embroidery of Assamese traditional floral designs in the combination of the same.

The mekhela is also kesa paat and is adorned with the same combination pink thread work and golden zari (guna) across the whole body while the fall has the same elaborate embroidery.
