Ira, meaning Earth is the idea that is driving our label's philosophy- giving back to the planet that has given us our home and protecting it for our future generations, all the while creating designs that reflect the individual expressions of an empowered modern woman who honors the roots and tradition of Assamese handloom. We created Ira Threads, with the vision of leaving an impact on this plan

et by creating classic pieces that are size inclusive, ageless, reflecting the culture of Assam following the principles of sustainable fashion using traditional weaving techniques and natural dyes whilst honoring the craft of Assamese silk weavers.
