Back then, happiness was as simple as playing in the courtyard, safe in our parents’ embrace. Now, life feels heavier—with responsibilities, expectations, and endless chasing.

This poem is a reflection of that journey—from innocence to reality, from carefree laughter to tired eyes. It’s also a prayer for my daughter… that she never loses her childhood too soon, that she holds onto joy a little longer than I did. 💫
