A Small Upgrade to Protect Your Honey Better

Many customers ask us how we pack our honey so it reaches them safely.

Earlier, we used a protective wrap around the bottle and then packed it inside our curated box. It worked well, but we always look for ways to improve.

Now we have upgraded to a premium molded protective insert. The honey bottle fits securely inside the molded pack, which helps reduce movement during transit and gives better protection. After that, it is placed inside our curated box and sealed with our official Nilgiris Mountain Honey tape.

This upgrade is all about making sure your honey reaches you in the same condition as it leaves our honey farm.

We keep improving every small detail because we know what is inside the bottle is precious.

Tourist season in Ooty means roads full traffic, flower show crowd everywhere… but orders should still go on time 🌧️📦

Today we went to procure fresh organic turmeric powder for one of our white labeling clients. Rain was about to come, roads were fully packed with tourist vehicles, and we were rushing to finish the packing quickly. My kid was also helping me while packing the boxes — small small hands, big support ❤️

Everything was packed carefully and ready for dispatch. After reaching the courier office, only then we came to know the courier charges have increased again. Earlier for 20 kilos we used to send around ₹1050, but now the rates are getting higher day by day.

Still, we don’t want to compromise on quality or delay the shipment. From sourcing the turmeric to packing and dispatching, we do everything with care, because when someone trusts us for white labeling, we take that responsibility personally.


Behind every parcel, there is always a story, traffic, rain, tension, hard work… and also family support.

When we first started our business, honestly we had no idea about trademark registration.
What name to select… which class to apply… what happens in future if we add new products… lots of confusion was there.

At that time, through Tamil E-Commerce, we got one contact — Mr. Mayan.
He guided us step by step very clearly.

Before filing, he asked properly about our business, what products we are selling now, and what we may sell in future also. According to that only, he suggested us to register under Class 29 & Class 30 for our two brands.

For many startups, this is where people waste time and money because initially we don’t know the process. Big organizations may charge very high, and for small entrepreneurs that becomes difficult.

That’s why I always say — go with a reliable person, especially someone referred by trusted people. It saves money, avoids mistakes, and gives peace of mind.

This post is mainly for new entrepreneurs who are starting something on their own.
Trademark is very important. Don’t ignore it in the beginning stage.

First time making our export stamp 😅

I was super excited.
Stamped one full page perfectly…

Then suddenly noticed the lines are not straight 🤦🏻‍♂️
Looks like they made the stamp slightly cross.

Small mistake… but honestly this is part of building a real business.

Every day we are learning something new.
From honey harvesting… to packaging… to export work…

Now harvesting started 🍯
See this fully sealed honeycomb

See this… now the honeycomb is fully sealed. This is the perfect time to harvest. This is where real pure honey comes.
Now harvesting season has started.

You can see all the honeycombs — fully sealed with wax. This is very important stage.

When bees seal the honey, it means the honey is ready. Water content will be very low, and quality will be high.

If we take honey before sealing, it will have more moisture. It will not stay long. Taste and quality also not same.

But this… this is perfect honey.

It takes almost one year for bees to make this. One full year of their work.

So it’s not easy. Every drop of honey is hard work — from bees and also from us maintaining the boxes.

Now we carefully open the hive… slowly remove the frames… without disturbing the bees too much.

This is the real process behind raw honey.
