Kausheyam Manufacturers of natural hand-woven textiles, with a retail store based in Hyderabad. Our focus is Kausheyam is a Sanskrit word for Tussar silk.

This fiber and handloom weaving occupy the major portion of our work. We manufacture fabrics and materials of unmatched beauty and heritage. We build long-term relationships with artisan groups around the country to create a supply chain of sustainable jobs. A number of weavers in India along the old silk route have succeeded in restoring the antique looms, thus contributing to the preservation of

a priceless artisanal heritage. The design of silk clothing requires great aesthetic vision and sensitivity of perception. Seasonal collections use a variety of heritage techniques like Jala and Kadial hand weaving, Block printing, Kalamkari, hand, and machine embroidery, hand and machine applique and Ikat. Our uniquely famous fabrics and blends include Tussar mulberry silk, tussar cotton, tussar matka, tussar khadi, tussar linen, Maheshwari, and Chanderi. Kausheyam is committed to creating a positive, measurable impact on the local artisans. To do this, we provide them with support to encourage creative innovation. Today, our network of approximately 400 artisans around the country is best in class and they manufacture products of superior quality. We emphasize fair labor, equal treatment, wages and hours to ensure working environments that positively impact their communities. Traditional textile art is at the core of our business. Through this, we hope to continue to be a catalyst for positive change that empowers artists around the country.
