So many things can beat the heat but what’s getting the US summers hotter is our close friends and customers wearing Aadya !

Here we have Lakshmi in a very pleasing to the eye pastel pink finest handloom Ponduru khadder saree with deep blue silk border.

And Vidya in an ethereal cream bodied handwoven Gadwal cotton sari with a border that features the old world medallion zari pattern, set against vibrant contrast bands of forest green and mustard yellow.

I remember few years before I was a part of a WhatsApp group where one of the guys had posted a song of Tanushree Dutta and commented something which made a mockery of the”me too” movement.Gradually everyone one started pitching in and it had become a huge joke.I was extremely offended by that post and started protesting and it became an argument which finally ended with an apology from the gentleman who had posted it.I am sure he dint mean to offend any one .He only thought it was funny.
To all the wonderful men out there ..we women are not trying to attack you.We are scarred for life with few of our experiences.I am nearly 53.I still get anxious when I sit next to a guy in a movie theatre who is a stranger.I could never sleep properly in a sleeper class train when I was travelling as a student cause ..u know why.I still remember three of us girls sitting in a bus and few guys walk in and touched us inappropriately .we were in shock and everyone in the bus knew something was off..but nobody even got up to ask us anything .So many more incidents have happened to us irrespective of our age,looks ,social status,education etc
Today morning got up to this ghastly news.I can imagine what that poor child must have gone through and luckily she has survived to narrate her ordeal.So,It still happens
This needs to stop
Irrespective of who we are we all need to be angry
We need to demand harsher and immediate sentencing of all the abusers
