Human beings are considered to be the most intelligent of all creations in universe. Reason being the cerebral powerhouse called BRAIN; an extremely complex, resourceful and distinct organ that helps him think, explore, analyze, innovate, plan and create. An individual is spelt as ordinary or extraordinary on the basis of sharpness of his brain. Sharper the brain, faster is the learning and when t

he learning is fast, the whole process of attaining knowledge becomes enjoyable. In the words of Swami Vivekananda, “every child is born with inbuilt /inherent qualities, we only need to provide an environment in which he can blossom at the fullest and enjoy the journey of learning. A sapling, till it grows into a plant, is to be given extra care and concern. Environment in which the child grows, time he spends with parents, the activities performed and the exposure he should get during these 6 years defines the sort of personality in which he is going to transform. Research shows that wiring of human brain begins in mother’s womb and is 90% complete by the age of 6. Thus, the period of 1 to 72 months can be said to be the most crucial period in development of child’s personality. An incidence strongly establishes how critical these 6 years are. Once a young mother approached Aristotle, “When should I begin training of my child? Aristotle asked, “How old is your child?” She replied that the child was 5 years old. At that moment Aristotle cried out . . . “Hurry home, you are already 5 years late. But its an irony that most of the parents don’t realize the significance of this time and have no awareness about their role as Mentors. They know that quality time should be spent with their children but are often clueless as to what must be done in this time. Mukul Learning System LLP; a Group of educationists, social workers and technocrats, have understood the importance and potential of human brain development in early age of children. After a research of 12 years it has come up with a unique solution in form of numerous activities which are based on exposure to 5 senses, 5 elements and are to be performed by children along with parents in the beautiful confines of their homes. During the early years of a child's life, they are incredibly fast learners. In fact, their brain wiring fires up around 700 million neurons per second. This highlights the critical nature of the first five years in a child's brain development.
Once this period is gone, the opportunity is lost. It is not just the child who misses out, but parents as well, as they lose the chance to experience the joy of playing with their child and forming a strong psychological and emotional bond. This bond allows parents to become friends, philosophers, and guides to their child.
Now, let's explore the difference between a biological mother (Janani) and a guru mother (Maa or Mata).
The journey of motherhood begins psychologically when a woman desires to become a mother. Biologically, it starts when she conceives a child. Once a woman delivers a baby, she becomes a biological mother. However, to become a Maa or Mata, a mother must dedicate herself to honing her child's qualities (Guns) and instilling values (Sanskars), in addition to taking care of their food, clothing, and hygiene.
Early child education is akin to the foundation of a house. A well-planned foundation ensures the sustainability and robustness of the building. Similarly, during the first five years of a child's life, the foundation for learning and the inculcation of social values is laid. What can young parents do to make the most of this crucial period?
1.Develop a keen understanding of the child's development process during the early years.
2.Dedicate at least one hour per day to spending quality time with their child, free from distractions like cell phones.
If a child is exposed to a variety of planned experiences from birth, it can work wonders for their learning capabilities. Providing repetitive and diverse experiences through the five senses and introducing them to the five elements can greatly contribute to their development.

Every parent aspires for their child to become a fast learner, often enrolling them in various coaching classes such as Abacus, UCMAS, and Vedic mathematics at an early age.

However, we often overlook the fact that scientists assert the first three years of a child's life are crucial for building their intellectual foundation. During this period, billions of neurons are highly active, presenting a significant opportunity to establish strong, positive knowledge connections.

In these initial three years, children are the fastest learners. Parents can maximize this period by actively and wisely engaging their child with varied, pleasant experiences daily. Utilizing multidimensional sensory plays, games, and activities can help develop sharper brains and lay a solid intellectual foundation, while also fostering a robust bond between parent and child.

All young parents should transform their homes into a Gurukul, the child's first school, and become their child's first teacher and mentor. The aspiration for an intelligent and well-behaved child can only be achieved through parents' knowledge and a commitment to quality time on a daily basis, especially during the child's early years.

Artificial intelligence is the future!!
Are we grooming our children to be future-ready?
Is the current education system taking into account these future challenges?
The impact of technology in the past few decades has made life simpler for us but, at the same time, made it tough and more challenging for the new generation. There will be more new demands and expectations in the business world as its models are transformed more rapidly due to innovations.
As a result, the required qualities and skill sets for business success or employees will also change rapidly.

How to prepare our kids for the future?
AI is going to change the rules in every field because it directly occupies the space of human quality called intelligence...!! The meaning or definition of intelligence is going to be reconstructed or redefined. For example, while working professionally, attractive handwriting skills are no longer an asset; remembering phone numbers is no longer required; Grammar and spelling mistakes are not bothering you anymore while writing an article or email; all worldly information is now at your fingertips.
In conclusion, AI technology will impact our lives in a big way. Our Education system, especially for our kids, also needs to be planned fresh to keep up with the new challenges of the future.

At what age should parents begin the educational journey for their children?
Scientists and educationists claim that the first five years of a child is the best period to empower his/her inborn qualities and traits. In the first five years, 90% of brain wiring is developed and makes trillions of connections; a process called blooming creates synapses in simple language, we can say knowledge nodes.

Focus on breadth, not on depth
One way to avoid focusing on results during this phase of education development is to emphasize the breadth of skill development over depth. This age is the time to engage children in music, reading, sports, math, art, science, and language. Exposing children to various activities lays a foundation for developing varied skills.
Therefore, parents suggested to begin their child’s learning process from the very first months because the most crucial period is the first 60 months. Parents need to prepare new activities and exposure plans for each month, and the basic principle is – that the “More varied the experiences sharper the brain” When Albert Einstein was a child, few people—if any—anticipated the remarkable contributions he would make to science. Albert Einsteins' delayed language development worried his parents to the point of consulting a doctor. His sister once confessed that Einstein had such difficulty with language that those around him feared he would never learn. How did this child go from potential developmental delays to becoming Einstein?
Part of the answer to that question is in two gifts that Einstein received from each of his parents when he was five years old. When Einstein was in bed all day from an illness, his father gave him a compass. For Einstein, it was a mysterious device that sparked his curiosity in science. Soon after, Einstein’s mother, a talented pianist, gave Einstein a violin. These two gifts challenged Einstein’s brain in distinctive ways at just the right time.

ENCOURAGE A LOVE OF LEARNING
Young children need to enjoy the process of learning instead of focusing on performance. Educators and parents can emphasize the joys of trying new activities and learning something novel. We need to help children understand that mistakes are a welcome, normal part of learning.

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭

In today's world, parents are actively seeking educational tools to aid in the development of their toddlers. Fortunately, a plethora of options are available both online and offline. We all recognize the critical importance of the first five years in a child's brain development. Every parent desires their child to have a strong start in school and excel academically. However, only a few truly understand how to make this happen.

Today, I want to emphasize the vital role of parenting, particularly during the early years of a child's life.

At the core of early childhood education lies "Positive Parenting," which requires two essential traits from parents:

1. Zeal to understand the developmental processes during early childhood.
2. Dedication to spending quality time with their child (a minimum of one hour per day).

If you are not prepared for this, both you and your child will miss out on a world of learning and fun opportunities that can provide a head start when they enter school. Unfortunately, many parents, despite recognizing the harmful effects of excessive screen time, find themselves surrendering to smartphones due to a lack of positive parenting traits.

Do you agree with us?

If you are ready to embrace positive parenting, let's get started now.
To provide you with a basic understanding of early childhood development, allow me to introduce the concept of the "Five Koshas" or dimensions of human personality development:

1. Anamaya (Physical)
2. Manomaya (Emotional)
3. Pranmaya (Inner strength)
4. Vighyanmaya (Intellectual)
5. Anandmaya (Spiritual)

The fundamental principle is that the more varied experiences a child have, the sharper their brain becomes. The more neural connections are formed, the more knowledge will flourish within them.

This integrated approach to child development is particularly crucial during the first five years when 90% of the brain develops. The child's enthusiasm for learning is at its peak during this period.

We cannot underestimate the challenges faced by parents, especially when both are working. However, practicing positive parenting is the crucial first step towards giving your child a head start in life.
