At large sourcing shows like Bharat Tex, the challenge isn’t finding high quality garment manufacturers, it’s choosing the right ones.

While we all want to make the most out of our visits to these trade shows, some common mistakes are often overlooked in planning.

1️⃣ Starting with price negotiation-
This makes the garment exporter that your primary goal is not quality apparel sourcing & they may not show you their best samples & capabilities.

2️⃣ Showing up without shortlisting-
There are thousands of clothing manufacturers who are waiting for your attention. But the time is limited - so plan in advance which manufacturers you want to visit & keep only a limited time for open exploration. Check out the updates from trade show organisers about the list of exhibitors.

3️⃣ Not asking about compliance-
If your shortlisted clothing manufacturer & exporter doesn't have necessary compliance & certifications in place - you end up on level zero. Ensure the certifications mandatory for your clothing brand are met with your manufacturing partner, right from the start.

Job Vacancy: Finishing Supervisor for a Garment Export Factory in Jaipur, India

Requirement -

candidate should have prior experience working as finishing incharge in a garment

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising the finishing department to ensure timely and quality completion of production orders.

Daily reporting of performance and output.

Coordinating with other departments, including cutting, sewing, and packing, to ensure seamless production flow.
