Week 17: Print Update: Halfway through it, will be updating two prints next week 🤗

Looking at the resources she sent me I immediately understood why Japan is so important and different for people.

Week 15: Print inspired by Japanese Script Kanji & Hiragana
Kanji’s are most intriguing..and I love writing them.
Ichi Go Ichi E, means each moment is unique and precious and it has its own beauty. When we slow down and truly notice, we learn to respect the magic of present.
In this print I tried to create one’s life moments in the form of memories which are dots and colors of the dots are representing the quality of memories happy or sad. My entire art practice is based on this same thought of life and memories and impermanence of life.

I started my Design Studio exactly 15 years ago in January 2010. I wanted to work in Textiles and Garments industry without any prior know how and experience (🙈 I can see your expression). These 15 years has taught me everything I know today.
