The Weavers Cochin The Weavers, Cochin Established in 1988, The Weavers was Cochin’s first designer store. The fabrics were then expertly designed into elegant Indian wear.

It’s proprietors, Bina Mathew and Thankam Mammen, travelled across the country to cities and small towns, sourcing traditional Indian fabrics that were unavailable in Kerala. Today, besides the beautifully tailored kurta sets, which can also be custom-made from the available fabrics, The Weavers boasts an exquisite range of sarees (Kanchipuram, Benaras, Kota, Chanderi, Maheshwari, Tussar, Bailou,

Jamdani, Paithani, Upada, Benaras Kora, Khadi, Gadwal, Handloom, Chiffons, Georgettes and other contemporary sarees) that have been individually selected from weavers across the country. The Weavers Sale, held twice or thrice each year, is a much-anticipated event with people flocking in from all over Kerala.

W have finally shut down our shop, “The Weavers” after running it for 35 blessed years.
Our sincere thanks to each and every one of you for your support, encouragement, patience & goodwill. That’s exactly why we could have this over these years.
Thank you once again.
We give spl thanks to God who was our guiding force, all those who worked with us especially our dear master tailor Vasanth, who passed on 3 years back with galloping cancer. His vacuum was felt till the end of our tenure.
Thank you once again dear friends, family & acquaintances for your good wishes.
