Its believed to be derived from persian word. There are many motives and we probably love all. Kalka ( paisley), panna hazar, butidar, fulwar, Jalar, Duria, Charkona.
Now do you know what is the difference between Dhakai and Jamdani? Basically no difference as both weaved in traditional way using same techniques.
