Eco printing test on mulberry silk.

I try to visualise sceneries when I print. The silk is my canvas and I try and draw with leaves. The reactions of tannins with metal ions create the magic that I wait for. Sometimes I can conceive the outcome, sometimes I'm surprised, sometimes I wish I had done differently, but every time I'm happy.

Leaves: Lagerstroemia, unknown foliage and dried Combretum flowers.

Still waiting for the holidays to test and print and repeat on a loop 🌿🌸☘️🍃

Full strength on mulberry silk (first bath = dark shade)
Silk chiffon in the exhaust bath (lighter shade)
Mulberry silk in the very exhausted bath (very light pastel pink )
