When Dr. Somreeta reached out to us with a very special request to create not just her little daughter Swaha’s Annaprashan outfit, but coordinated ensembles for the entire family, her saree, her husband’s dhoti-panjabi and her elder daughter’s lehenga, I’ll admit, I was a little nervous. Creating outfits for an entire family for such an important milestone felt like a big responsibility. But we embraced the challenge with all our heart.
As I share these beautiful pictures from Swaha’s Annaprashan on Friday, my heart is overflowing with joy and gratitude. Seeing a family celebrate such a precious memory in outfits we lovingly created is the greatest reward we could ask for.
