These five years have been nothing short of a journey—of building a community, creating bonds, and finding family in so many corners of this country. From Jaipur to Kochi, Ahmedabad to Vizag, each city welcomed us with love and gave us people who became more than patrons—they became part of our story.
Over the years, many of you asked how you could reach our collections more easily. We tried, we failed, and we tried again. And today, that long wait finally ends. Our website is going to live tomorrow - our work can reach your home directly, just as you’ve always wished.
For me, this is more than just a launch. It’s a deeply personal joy—something I dreamt of for so long but couldn’t bring to life until now. And it’s only because of you—your constant support, encouragement, and faith—that this day has come.

Fabric That Once Clothed a Movement
On National Handloom Day, we honour not just the weavers and their artistry — but the fabric that once carried the spirit of freedom on its threads.
It was on this day, in 1905, that the Swadeshi Movement took root — urging Indians to reject foreign cloth and embrace handwoven khadi and handlooms as a mark of self-reliance, dignity, and resistance. The loom became a symbol, the thread a revolution, and the saree — a silent protest.

At Gulmohar, we celebrate this legacy every day — by working with grassroots artisans, by nurturing clusters, and by telling stories spun with care, dyed with emotion, and woven with purpose.
