Ratul Sood, the name being synonymous with the globalization of Indian fashion, is setting benchmarks in the world of fashion. Born in Kolkata on 15th March, he did his schooling from St. After schooling, Ratul Sood got a Bachelors degree in Commerce from St. He harped on the fashion domain with his job at Pierre Cardin, the crème-de-la-crème among fashion designers, in Paris. ndia in 1990 to take the reins of Burlington’s (now Sood) where he incorporated his learning, during the years spent in Paris, in his innovative spins with Indian fashion. Garbs run in the family of Ratul – a family-owned garment business. What irked Ratul at that time was that men were ignored when compared to women in the world of fashion. Ratul decided to bring forth a range of exquisite menswear and set forth to achieve this goal. Today, his life is nothing short of a success story. His globally acclaimed mélange of creations (formal menswear and accessories) draw inspiration from célèbre brands like Dolce, Armani, Gabbana and Prada. An enthusiastic and a bold persona, Ratul aspires to adorn generation Next having a similar exigence with chic attires for a bueno lifestyle.
