Appu is being named after the historic mascot of the Asian games of 1982.It was formed after that only.First came the tailoring shop named APPU TAILORS which is located near the Biddhannagar railway station which is still the parent shop.Gradually Appu opened three other branches under the immense hardworking of the Paul Brothers.On the 7th of May 1993,APPU SAREE EMPORIUM was formed.Gradually it

increased in size with increasing in stocks and various categories-from sarees to salwars to Shawls.Now on the 21st Anniversary APPU has made a name of its own in the North zone of Kolkata.You can find various kinds of handloom silk and cotton sarees,fancy sarees ,cotton printed sarees.
