The embroidery has a repertoire of nearly thirty-six stitches, among which some of the major stitches in Lakhnavi language are called as ‘Bakhiya’, ‘Fanda’, ‘Jali’ and ‘Ghans patti’. This craft has a huge historical value as well as it is a prime ethnic symbol of Indian culture.
