In its endeavour to be more sensitive towards clean and green environment, Nahar has become first company in this domain to set up its own CNG station in collaboration with Torrent Gas ltd, which was inaugurated by Sh. S.K. Tyagi (Business Head, NIEL). This will fulfill the requirement of Nahar owned CNG vehicle fleet as the company has converted all its vehicles from diesel to CNG since long. In further persuasion, more number of vehicles will be converted into CNG and that will assist us in reducing carbon footprint as the same is the Vision of the conglomerate.

In line with the same Nahar has accomplished the task of first dose of vaccination to all its employees and their families across all locations like Ludhiana, Lalru, Bhopal covering approx 10000 workforce. This campaign started with a shaky note when people were skeptical in their approach of going for it with an inhibition from the month of April 21 onwards and today we are sitting pretty with 98% coverage of first dose completion and still being continuing with second dose for few and subsequently on snail pace now as the guidelines for second dose got twisted for longer periodical interval.

Well in perspective of this drive, our management has taken a passionate interest in getting this mission successful with a sheer approach of District Administrator involvement in day to day affairs along with SDM / Tehsildar, Police authority and Nodal officer to look after the camp organizing and well supported and executed by SMO and ESI doctors and their team of vaccinators and Sampling on daily basis and this drive got through in a span of 60 days (April to May 2021) to accomplish the first mission of vaccination for all.

As we all know that world is going through difficult times as Covid has gripped the whole world. To fight with this pandemic, Government of India has launched a massive vaccination drive in whole country.

Following the guidelines laid out by Central Ministry for Health, Punjab government has launched a massive program for vaccinating the common people. Adhering with issued guidelines vaccination camps are being arranged at Nahar Industrial Enterprises Limited., Lalru for its employees & their families.

The camp was organized with the help of SDM Derabassi and Tehsildar Derabassi duly coordinated and supported by Civil Hospital Lalru in conjunction with Nahar ESI dispensary who extended their services during the vaccination drive. Even Mohan Dai Hospital staff voluntarily participated for making it successful.

From Nahar Industrial Enterprises Limited, Mr. Dharmesh Gera organized the camp. During the interview, Mr. Gera shared that our attempt is to come together in this tough time and help the common people get access to vaccination with a motto ’ NO ONE IS SAFE TILL EVERYONE IS SAFE”

Altogether around 2000 people benefited from the vaccination drive till now. Our target is to complete all above 45 years of age within next two days. And subsequent to this our endeavor is to get everybody vaccinated under front line workers
