Okay… I can finally show you what happened behind this outfit. 👀🎬

My first movie. And I got to design for Shabana Azmi. 🥹🎬

Still feels a little unreal saying that.

Before the outfit made it to the screen, there were so many steps that nobody gets to see — figuring out the design, sourcing the right fabric, making it, fittings, alterations, last-minute changes, sleepless nights… and making sure every little detail was right.

There were moments of excitement, stress, reworking things at the last minute and more than a few nights where sleep definitely took a backseat. 😅

So instead of just showing you the final look, I thought I’d show you what actually went into making it.

This was my first experience designing for a film, and honestly, it was a completely different world for me.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes of how the outfit came together — from sleepless nights at my work table to finally seeing it on the big screen. ❤️🎬

And what better way to show up than in something I designed myself? 🤍

Wore one of my favourite structured pants from my label for the evening — paired with a simple white top and letting the pants do all the talking.

There’s something extra special about wearing your own creation to a room filled with fashion, couture and all things weddings. A little surreal, a little proud, and definitely a moment I’ll remember. ✨
