This is what my POV looks like before any product is actually made. 🤍

I know it’s almost hard to believe, but yes … before anything goes digital, it starts with a thought. And that thought almost always finds its way onto paper first.

I think I’ve just developed this very deep relationship with paper over the years. I’ve drawn on it, learned on it, experimented on it, and built my entire visual language through it.

For me, paper isn’t just where the sketch begins. It’s the medium that feels most honest to the way I create. And if I take that away, somehow I feel like I’m taking away the very foundation on which the idea was built.

Only once I’m happy with what exists on paper does it move into the digital world.

And honestly, digital isn’t about creating the art all over again. It’s mostly about making sure the colours, saturation and little details translate beautifully… so that when the print finally lands on fabric, it does justice to what I imagined on paper.

So, before you see a finished product, there’s usually a piece of paper, a lot of thought, and a whole lot of drawing behind it. ✍🏻
