For years, polyester yarn has been treated as a commodity, chosen mainly for price and availability. But modern textile manufacturing tells a different story.

Small variations in yarn consistency, denier control, shade precision, elongation and moisture management can significantly affect fabric quality, production efficiency, and rejection rates.

Same time, polyester itself is evolving, moving beyond its traditional perception to deliver natural fiber-like feel, improved drape, and enhanced moisture absorption, making it a strong alternative to conventional materials.

150 litres of water. That's what traditional textile dyeing consumes per kg of fabric. We found that unacceptable.

AYM Syntex Dope Dyeing changes that. By integrating colour at the polymer stage, dope dyed polyester yarn typically uses just 0 to 8 litres of water per kg, eliminating the need for conventional wet processing.

This impact goes beyond water:

- Up to 80% less water consumption
- Approx 50-60% reduction in energy consumption
- No need of large dye baths or drying cycles
- Elimination of thousands of chemicals used as dyeing auxiliaries
- Around 60% lower CO₂ emissions compared to traditional dyeing

And at our Palghar plant, this is further strengthen by our Zero Liquid Discharge system ensures not a single litre of wastewater enters the environment.
