Their debut at fashion week in 2006 made the fashion industry look up and notice their exquisite collections. Bhumika’s passion for textiles and fashion led her to study fashion design at the National Institute of Fashion Technology(NIFT). A dream to create their own label led them to establish SHYAMAL & BHUMIKA. The label known for its bridal couture, wedding wear, occasion wear and east meets west Indian wear collections retails at the SHYAMAL & BHUMIKA flagship stores in Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi and Hyderabad - India and Los Angeles - USA. Bhumika and Shyamal believe in using artisan techniques while designing their Indian wear and international collections. Their love for Indian embroideries, hand woven fabrics, and age old craft techniques promises to take them global. The designers are also involved in the research and revival of various dying arts and crafts. Truly luxurious, infinitely wearable, and minimal is how one can describe this label.
