Artistically brilliant associations with - Russian Supermodel Maria Shatalova for the Cannes Film festival, styling sisters Kareena and Karishma Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Vivek Oberoi and managing a plethora of other celebrities have acknowledged and reinforced her brilliance in technique, design and Haute Couture. Being a connoisseur of beautifully textured fabrics, innovative methods, exquisite surface ornamentation combined with an innate, almost intuitive understanding of the body type, she breathes life in to a garment by her intellect and experience. A tapestry of tradition reimagined.

This vibrant outfit is handcrafted from authentic karvati saree borders woven by the weavers close to Nagpur, Vidharbha, the inner, a signature Nivedita cut and sew dress is an excellent dress to wear on it’s own or teamed up with a jacket.

A great example of a global silhouette with authentic Indian handloom fabric, this dress is styled with a signature Nivedita cut and sew jacket made from Khann fabric and embellished with jari borders and hand made silk Resham tassels crafted from the indigenous handlooms of Maharashtra.

Each stripe and weave carries the essence of local artisanship, yet comes together in a silhouette that feels undeniably global and contemporary. It’s about taking the richness of our heritage and letting it shine in a form that resonates with today’s style language.

An unforgettable celebration of India’s rich weaving traditions at the 11th National Handloom Day, hosted by the Textile Ministry of India.

We were honoured to represent Western India with a collection that reimagines Maharashtra’s indigenous handlooms, paired with accessory inspirations from Rajasthan & Gujarat, for the way we dress today.

Amongst the many distinguished guests, the event was graced by Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Textiles, Shri Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs of India, and Kangana Ranaut, MP & a beloved Bollywood superstar.
