1 Donā€™t judge by swatch alone

Always see the full roll, flaws hide in meters, not inches.

2 Fabric ā‰  finished look

Drape, fall and stiffness change after stitching.

3 Ask about GSM and shrinkage %

Two fabrics can look the same but behave conpletely differently after stitching and washing.

4 Source fabric from wholesalers first

Sourcing from mills need high MOQ while wolesalers let you test small quantities. ( Trust for this )

5 Buy Dyeable fabrics when possible

6 Build relationships with vendors

A good vendor wonā€™t just sell to you. Theyā€™ll save fabric for you, give you first dibs and grow with you on pricing. ( )

7 Never buy without a sample cut.
