Treasures from the Gara Archives
The Parsi culture has always expressed itself through intention. In the way we drape, in the motifs we cherish and in the pieces we choose to honour.
At ZS by Zenobia Davar, the Gara is our way of keeping that intention alive. Each hand embroidered motif is created with precision and a deep respect for the craft and the stories it carries.
This collaborative shoot with Aurus under their Sajja edit and the Alpaiwalla Museum brought together three elements that define our heritage. The authenticity of the Gara, The refined jewellery traditions interpreted by Aurus and a museum that safeguards the memory of our community.
These images are a celebration of delicacy, depth and lineage, an aesthetic shaped by the Silk Route, refined over generations and kept alive by the connoisseurs of today.
