Lida O’Reilly, who has won an indisputable international reputation in the field of fashion, is known for her sartorial statement in designer gowns which elegantly fit the body types of every woman. The first and sole Mauritian ambassador of ‘haute couture’, Lida has participated in numerous international fashion shows in Paris, London, Dubai, India and the USA. She embarked on an international path, dressing Femina Miss India 2008, Miss Universe 2007 and was ranked among the ‘Most Prominent upcoming designers’. She has also designed for celebrities and society women such as Mrs. Hillary Clinton. In 2012, Lida was presented the award of the Officer of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (OSK).
