Every crystal on this shoe is placed by hand, one at a time, by someone who’s been doing exactly this for years. There’s no machine version of that step, which is the entire reason a pair takes as long as it does. And because a shoe like this gets worn to long nights, we put 6mm underfoot rather than the usual 4 — it should still be comfortable at 1am, not just impressive at 8
