Everyone says ‘good cotton = good T-shirt’… but that’s only HALF the story.
Here’s what actually makes a T-shirt high quality — explained super simply 👇
1️⃣ Yarn Quality – If the yarn is smooth and strong, the fabric won’t get fuzzy or rough after washing.
(Secret: cheaper yarn breaks faster, that’s why some tees get tiny holes.)
2️⃣ Knitting Quality – When loops are knitted tight and even like this 👆, the fabric stays in shape and doesn’t twist or stretch weirdly.
3️⃣ Fabric Finishing – A real premium T-shirt goes through special washing, compacting, and softening.
(This is why good tees don’t shrink in the first wash.)
4️⃣ Stitching Quality – Clean seams, strong threads, and straight neck rib = the T-shirt lasts longer.
(Experts check the inside stitching… most people don’t.)
5️⃣ Color Fastness – If the dyeing is done properly, the color stays bright instead of fading after 2–3 washes.
So the truth is:
A high-quality T-shirt is not made in one step… it’s made in every step.
