But instead we got less. The corporates chewed up our choices and spat them back at us in contempt. We were supposed to be buying clothes in London and Paris and New York, because we now had access to them. But instead we can buy khakis or chinos in 50 different colors. And polo shirts with naff British Private School logos. But we don’t play polo!!!!!!! Are you listening? Instead of choice we fee

l angst. We can not escape our digital addiction and we are bombarded more than ever with advertising, but we have no longer choice. We give the digital giants all our information – we freely hand it over – and in return we get more choice of the same thing. Yes, that does mean less choice. I can’t escape my digital prison but I can’t even go shopping to allay my angst. I don’t want chinos. I want something that says I AM AN INDIVIDUAL.
