80 years of Independence
Independence Day is not just about remembering 15 August 1947. It’s about asking ourselves what freedom means to us today.
It’s in having a voice. In being able to dream big. In questioning what doesn’t feel right. In choosing our own path, while remembering the people who made that choice possible for us.
India at 80 is a fascinating mix of old and new — traditions sitting comfortably beside technology, countless languages and cultures sharing one identity, small towns dreaming bigger, young people building things the world is watching.
We’ve come a long way. We still have a long way to go.
And maybe that’s the most beautiful part. It keeps changing, learning, arguing, rebuilding and moving forward.
So today, let’s celebrate not just the India we inherited, but the India we are helping create.
80 years freedom.
80 years of stories.
80 years of resilience.
And so much more yet to come.
