Pamela( ) is one of the first muses that I’ve connected through MAIKAI. That’s how I’ve created some of the meaningful relationships through this brand. She’s seen me through a better part of my journey as an artist & entrepreneur so far.
When she told me that’s she wanted to wear my jewellery on her wedding day, I had her pieces blessed here in India before shipping them to her.
Months later, these photos arrived in my inbox and I melted. In her words, “That day, I wanted to feel grounded, like I had roots coming out of me, going deep into the earth. Your pieces played a pivotal role in creating that anchor.”
The earrings she chose are one of my favourites from our jewellery offerings, the Nimbus Baroque pearl earrings. She wore a ring from her late father on one hand. A heart from her mum around her neck. And on the other hand, my Persephone ring with a baroque pearl & green amethyst. An incredible artist herself(in awe of what she shares through her page), she told me that she needed something that represented her, her adventures, her spirit. That MAIKAI found her on that journey, and the pieces represented that power.
What touched me the most is her writing after the wedding, “It felt like I was adorned with friends.” And truly, it has been an honour to walk with this queen on her most special day. 🤍
I offer small batch, handcrafted pieces from a small coastal village of Goa, India. Some days it’s just me and the work. And then a message like this arrives from the other side of the world and reminds me exactly why.
Pamela, my beautiful sister. Wishing you a life of beauty, love, togetherness and abundance. ✨
