✨ From Sketch to Saree — Designed by Kumkum Kosha ✨
Every masterpiece begins with a single motif.
What you see here is not a finished saree sourced from a catalog. These are original Banarasi weaving concepts designed by Kumkum Kosha and created from scratch for our upcoming collection.
🌿 Saavan Green
❤️ Royal Vermilion Red
🧡 Festive Kesari Orange
Each design has been carefully developed keeping in mind the elegance of traditional Banarasi craftsmanship while ensuring versatility for modern women.
🔸 All-over Buti Design (1.5–2 inch motif)
The small zari butis are intentionally designed to be uniformly distributed across the saree body, creating a balanced and graceful appearance. The spacing allows the saree to look rich without feeling heavy, making it suitable for both daytime functions and evening celebrations.
🔸 Contrasting Banarasi Border
The border has been crafted to complement the body rather than overpower it. Traditional floral vines, zari detailing, and heritage Banarasi elements create a luxurious frame that enhances the drape and overall silhouette.
🔸 Designed for Multiple Occasions
Whether it is:
• Teej & Saavan Celebrations
• Weddings & Reception Functions
• Pujas & Religious Gatherings
• Family Events
• Ethnic Parties
• Festive Office Wear
the design is intended to deliver a timeless Banarasi look with exceptional comfort and elegance.
🧵 Next Step: Weaving
These digital concepts will now be translated into weaving graphs and loom instructions, where skilled artisans will transform these motifs and borders into authentic Banarasi silk sarees.
