They love each other a lot. The idea of the Best shop was born out of their passion for Indian handicrafts and immense love they have between them. Shivani and Mahipal started their business on the streets of Laxmanjhula Rishikesh, international yoga capital and a well known tourist destination on the banks of the holy river Ganges, back in 2003. th the name Sampada, a hindi word, which means 'A Treasure'. Slowly people from all parts of the world started to become their customers. Thanks to the good quality, nice service and honesty they succeeded in winning their customers' hearts. Their shop became popular among tourists through word of mouth. All their customers used to call their shop The Best Shop and this is how Sampada became The Best Shop. The Best Shop Rishikesh is at present one of the most beautiful stores in town. It is a tourist's paradise for buying gifts like handmade Pashmina ( Cashmere ), Natural Silk, Himalayan wool, Cotton products ( Scarves, Stoles, Shawls ) and many more handcrafted items. All the Products that The Best Shop has are Handmade in India. The service is very good and it is probably the only fixed price store in Rishikesh. The energy in the store is positive and the feel is great.
