Bombay Stores was founded in 1931 by Thiru R.P.Nayagam , he used to get goods from Bombay on consignment basis. Hence, The people
of our area used to indicate our shop as "Bombay Thuni Kadai". Thus our shop was named as "BOMBAY STORES" by the people.
