Malli or Mogra which is famously known as Jasmine flower is one of the most beautiful and fragrant amongst all flowering plants in Asia. The flower is also referred to as Kundumalligai, Arabian Jasmine, Jai, Jui, Chameli, Madanban, Sayali, K***a or Mallika.

Ever wondered how those stunning textile prints come to life? It’s like painting a masterpiece, but on fabric! Here’s a peek into how I come up with my print designs:

1. Eureka Moment! 💡 - Inspiration can hit anywhere: a walk in the park, a splash of coffee on the table, or even your pet’s fur pattern. For me, it was this not-so-little key!

2. Doodle Time ✏️ - Grab that sketchbook and start doodling! This stage involves a lot of creativity and perhaps some questionable drawings that make you go, “What was I thinking?”

3. Digital Magic 💻 - Transform those doodles into digital masterpieces. Time to fire up Photoshop or Illustrator and bring those ideas to life with a few clicks and a lot of “undo” commands.

4. Colour Me Happy 🎨- Choose the perfect colour palette. Expect lots of swatches and some serious debate over whether that shade of blue is really blue enough or if anyone but me would ever wear Lime xD

5. Pattern Play 🔄- Arrange and rearrange motifs until they’re just right. It’s like playing Tetris, but with flowers, shapes, or whatever floats your creative boat.

6. Print Test 🖨️ - Print out samples and make tweaks. There will be trial and error, and maybe some fabric that ends up as “unique” gift wrap.
