The first shivir after Uma Ben’s passing has been deeply emotional for me. I am overwhelmed and grateful to share that Dua Charusmita Gadekar and I successfully conducted first natural dye workshop in her absence. Throughout the planning, we could truly feel her blessings guiding us.
We were fortunate to have a wonderful group of participants- each one bringing their own energy, curiosity, and experiences. Sharing my learnings with them, while also learning from their experiences, made this shivir even more meaningful.
It felt like a gentle reminder that her spirit continues to live through the presence in our hearts, her work, and the community she nurtured—just the way she taught us to honour colour, craft, and compassion. 🌿✨
