As McKinsey & Company pointed out, digital sales represented only 8% of the market in 2016, and the figure is expected to grow to 19% in 2025, meaning nearly 1 in 5 purchases will be made online.

In the market, there are different digital for a shop experience, one of them is Farfetch which is a marketplace dedicated to fashion and luxury accessories.

Founded in 2007, it consists of a platform with an advanced technology and logistics network, which invests in innovation by connecting online and offline sales.

Farfetch has released a new tool, Good Measures, that will help guide luxury brands to improve their measures.

The tool is based on Good on You’s rating which will rate luxury brands' sustainability performance with a mark out of five.

is becoming more and more essential to eliminate those barriers of time and space that we have always thought were essential in our business model.

Compared to a few years ago, today we travel less and so we meet fewer people physically and also for this reason we have more time to stay in office or home and think about new projects and new solutions that our market requires.

Thanks to many digital tools we are able to be updated faster and faster on the needs of our customers and therefore implement those actions that lead to an improvement. Obviously not before sharing our ideas with trusted customers, we can easily call collaborators now, who always manage to point us on the right path.

2022 will be a very year to be able to continue the awareness-raising work in the fashion chain to make decisions and always operate with the objectives of reducing the environmental impact on the entire supply chain.

To do this, you need to have a long-term and set a final goal but you also need to set intermediate goals along the way to be able to keep track of what you are doing and take actions if you see that something is not going as planned.

At Leath3r we are experimenting with new tools and making new improvement actions in order to embrace sustainability at 360 degrees.

Most of the time it is difficult to understand the right steps to start a path in the fashion industry.
