Before F1 Eyewear existed, Jonathan was already in it.

His own brands — Eye Respect and LDNR — sponsored Force India.
That’s LDNR on the sidepod of the pink car. And that’s him
fitting Esteban Ocon, because when your brand is on the car,
you end up fitting the drivers too.

Then he went and got the Formula 1 licence itself.

So when we say we know this world — we’re not talking about
watching it on Sunday.

I’ve stood behind the F1 Eyewear table at the track. Paddock
Club, fan zone, everything laid out before the grandstands
filled. Seven years in the paddock before that — Renault,
Lotus, Williams.

Here’s what you learn standing behind that table: almost
everyone walking past is wearing the same four brands. All
owned by the same company.

Then they try a pair on. That’s usually the end of it — once
you’ve worn independent, the mass-produced stuff never feels
the same again.
