For us, however, this is not a new trend. For over 15 years we have believed in the potential of the handloom as a contemporary design language and a bridge between textile tradition and innovation. At a time when these techniques seemed destined to remain on the margins of the industry, we chose to invest, experiment, and help bring them back into the conversation with contemporary fashion and design.
Collaborations like the one with Tessitura La Colombina, with its historic 19th-century wooden looms, show how the meeting of artisanal knowledge and contemporary design can create products with a strong cultural and material identity.
It is encouraging to see that more and more brands are now moving in this direction: the value of slow, conscious, and deeply human weaving is finally returning to the center of the fashion system.

Negli ultimi anni le maison internazionali stanno mostrando un rinnovato interesse per tecniche tessili storiche, materiali autentici e processi produttivi che riportano al centro il valore del tempo, del gesto e della conoscenza artigianale. Come evidenzia l’articolo, questo riflette un cambiamento culturale più profondo: la ricerca di unicità, tattilità e significato in ciò che indossiamo.
Per noi, però, non si tratta di un trend recente. Da oltre 15 anni crediamo nel potenziale del telaio a mano come linguaggio contemporaneo di progetto e come ponte tra tradizione tessile e innovazione. In anni in cui queste tecniche sembravano destinate a rimanere ai margini dell’industria, abbiamo scelto di investire, sperimentare e contribuire a riportarle nel dialogo con il design e la moda contemporanea.
Collaborazioni come quella con Tessitura La Colombina, con i suoi storici telai in legno dell’800, dimostrano come l’incontro tra saperi artigianali e progettazione contemporanea possa generare prodotti con una forte identità culturale e materica.
È incoraggiante vedere che sempre più brand stanno guardando in questa direzione: il valore di una tessitura lenta, consapevole e profondamente umana sta finalmente tornando al centro del sistema moda.
