Hello September, end of Summer.
We slowly enter in my favorite part of the year, when everything becomes copper, slowly swept by the wind.
L’Amante dress in its mesh version is one of my favorite garments to wear for this time, light and soft, moving with the move of autumn.

Nour shirt came back to basics. 👊🏻🌱⛰🇮🇹

As some of you know, My Italian roots are a big part of my identity, especially by the link I had with my grandfather who owned his own leather workshop and made me fall in love with sewing machines and fabrics.

For many reasons (most of them because of work!) I haven’t been in the place where he grew up for 13 years.

This Italian roots trip was really deep and moving, it was like he was still here, working on the house, and my grandma laughing and chasing mosquitoes. 🥹🦟

I took this picture of my father wearing Nour linen shirt. Linen melting with mountainous landscape made me full of emotions. I was very happy that the shirt could be impregnated by the spirit of this wonderful place.

An oriental proverb says that it’s up to the thoughts to feed the words, to the words to dress the thoughts. ✨

I’m not that active on Carlinae’s social diary these times, and don’t have the time to create new stuff for now (but back each day sooner). However while still honouring orders, new ideas of shapes and fabrics are still floating in my mind, every day, every night.

I’ve told you about harnesses a few months ago. I’m still on it, and will show you properly I’m the next times.

Spring is my second favorite season. 💗🌸✨
Since I’ve been a child, I feel every year the same feeling. It’s always like a new birth, nature is booming, days more and more shining, people look kinder and there’s this lightness on the air. Something a bit exciting too!
Our linen Dating set is out again to celebrate and feel deeper this amazing feeling 😍✨

A new top is coming very soon (here in a shiny version). It will be a linen top, with a bustier inspiration. The prototype is coming very soon, I’ll then probably make it with different fabrics, according to my deadstock fabrics from luxury houses suppliers. ☺️

Born from a book. 📓📚

Litterature is one of Carlinae most important creation inspiration. This coat came out from the book L’Amant from Marguerite Duras, raising travel, escape, but also a teenager starting to play in aldults playground. The scarf came in my mind to protect her (and so you), and make a mysterious train.

This coat gonna be back on the shop very soon with different colors options, still from deadstock materials, and will be also available somewhere else too, I tell you more about it very soon✨
