MADE IN ITALY BY DRIFTERS @ CAMPO APERTO

On Saturday, June 21 at a powerful and collective fashion show came to life on a long red carpet. The garments designed and sewn by tailors, seamstresses, and designers from the neighborhood - and Frei und Apple was proudly one of them - were screen-printed with alarming ISTAT data on gender-based violence by the artistic duo (Sandrine Nicoletta and Valentina Miorandi).
The show was accompanied by producer and the music of Genoese electronic composer creating a convivial atmosphere in which an enthusiastic audience — itself part of the performance — took part. Meanwhile, at Campo XS, the Drifters were live screen-printing data onto any clothing brought by attendees.
Made in Italy by Driftere is the 4th project of Campo Aperto - the biennial program of Campo XS that involves national and international multidisciplinary artists, with no limits on expressive languages.
The protest garments will be on display at Campo XS until July 27, 2025.
