With fall around the corner, I’m thinking of few of the pieces that I wear more often and Harlow by Caidree ⁓ Sabina is one of my top 5 . Our version in knit in Baby Yak Medium color silver grey and it’s so comfortable, soft and versatile! We just say Sabina has a pattern promotion going on right now, and while we love so many of her designs, this is the one that I would knit in very color of our Baby Yak. I should get the cardigan version too !

I spent a few beautiful days at Lake Garda this week, and this was my perfect evening outfit: the Against The Current shawl and tee by Elenor Mortensen , both knitted in Fior Di Lino. Light, incredibly soft against the skin, and just warm enough for these last days of summer — and the cooler days of fall ahead.

And that little fish swimming against the current? It’s much more than a cute detail. 🐟

For us, it’s a symbol of strength and resilience. Of trusting your own instincts, following your own path, and having the courage to swim in a different direction when that’s where your heart takes you.

It’s also a little bit of the mYak spirit. We’ve always believed in doing things our own way — staying true to what we believe in, even when it means swimming against the current.

Because sometimes, the most meaningful journey is the one you choose for yourself. 🤍

Last day in Italy before heading back to New York had to be Venice 🤍

A little goodbye to summer in my favorite city—always bittersweet. The moon hung high above the Grand Canal, glowing softly over the Accademia Bridge, as if Venice itself was asking me to stay just a little longer.

We are deeply saddened by the devastating disaster and loss of life along the Nepal–Tibet/China border. Our hearts and deepest condolences go to all those who have lost loved ones, their homes, or are still stranded and facing the aftermath of this tragedy.

Many of you have reached out to us, asking whether our mYak community and the families we work with are safe. We are incredibly grateful for your concern and kindness. We want to reassure you that the area affected by this tragedy is very far from where our people live, and our mYak community is safe and well.

Still, knowing that so many families are suffering so close to the region that is such an important part of our lives makes this news especially heartbreaking for us.

Thank you for thinking of our community and for taking the time to reach out. Your care means more than you know. 🤍
