And there are very few people that can recognize quality by the touch as she does. Luciana ‘gets’ cashmere. She can spot the difference between authentic cashmere and the cashemere look, which is what the majority of companies tend to use nowadays. Further, Luciana recognizes the difference between a prestigious, hand-made item and a serial product. After years of working as a consultant and product manager for some international companies, Luciana has decided with her son Gian Marco Tavani to realize her dream and to create AMA, a company that produces genuine cashmere products, whose quality is not compromised by commercial pressures.
