Laura Laureto was born in 1983 in Naples, and spent her childhood there, in one of the largest and most enchanting cities of the Mediterranean. It was there that Laura fell in love with the traditional techniques of craftsmanship which she learned from her mother and her aunt. From an early age her innate originality and innovative vision emerged, and she spent much time concentrating on how to im

prove the design process. From the time she was a girl, she liked designing clothes and fashion accessories. She always wanted to try something new, creative and never conventional, following her own young and revolutionary vision. Around the time Laura dreamed of becoming a stylist in 1998, her family decided to move from Naples to Tuscany’s Cortona. Overwhelmed by the beauty that surrounded her, Laura decided to attend the famous fashion school “Piero della Francesca” in Arezzo, with the idea of merging the traditional art of Tuscany, which dates all the way back to the pre-Christian Etruscans, with the style and modern techniques of fashion. Then Laura met Mauro Cantarelli, an entrepreneur who helped her develop her talent as a designer. She began to design tailor-made products for his label, items that represented comfort, quality and impeccable style. At Cantarelli Laura was able to transform her dreams into reality. In recent years Laura also met Lisa Lehner, a lawyer and important mentor, who helped her launch her brand LAURA LAURETO in the United States.

If you ever find yourself in Boston, do yourself a favor and visit Jen’s place. Jen is an incredible woman, hard working, dedicated, and truly passionate about what she does. She built her business with the kind of diligence and professionalism that can only come from someone with deep Italian roots and a genuinely kind heart.
From the moment you walk in, you can feel her warmth in every detail. The food is unforgettable, her meatballs are rich and comforting, and the cannoli are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. But what truly sets this restaurant apart is the atmosphere Jen creates. Strangers sit together at the same table, share a meal, laugh, talk, and by the time they leave, they already feel like new friends. It’s a beautiful experience, one that stays with you long after the evening is over.
I loved every moment I spent in Boston at her restaurant, and I’m deeply grateful for Jen’s generosity, her spirit, and the love she puts into her work. Thank you, Jen, for making your restaurant not just a place to eat, but a place to feel at home.

As a designer, one of the greatest joys is seeing people wear my creations and feeling their happiness — it truly makes every effort worthwhile. Even though I live in Italy, meeting such warm, radiant, and welcoming people fills my heart with gratitude. 💕

Cortona, terra che amo profondamente. Davanti a questo arcobaleno sento che la vera arte nasce da qui: dall’incontro tra la natura e la mia capacità di assorbirne la bellezza.
La vera bellezza non si crea, si accoglie.
L’arcobaleno è il respiro della terra dopo la pioggia, un ponte tra il visibile e l’invisibile.
Io non faccio altro che lasciarmi attraversare, trasformando in forma e colore ciò che la natura mi sussurra.
